WE LOVE KILTS 2027,
Scotland’s Favourite Calendar is back for 2027 with 12 handsome men in kilts at iconic locations across Scotland!

Castles with histories stretching back through the dim mists of time, majestic wintry landscapes, magnificent Clydesdale horses, the breed of Highland cow more fondly known as a Heilan coo and, not least, Scotland’s iconic national dress and tartans are among the fascinating images showcased in this -  our We Love Kilts Calendar 2027.

Captured for posterity through the discerning lens of top Scottish photographer Alistair Devine for the ninth in our best-selling series since first launched in 2019, our kilted army of hardy models became as one with their surroundings as the camera shutter snapped at the ideal moment to record the perfect shot.

With the forbidding ruins of Dunure Castle looming behind our model Ryan, the South Ayrshire coast is the setting for January’s picture, while in February Jonathan braves the elements in a wintry Glencoe landscape.

March finds Paul much further north, in Sutherland, where he discovers a curious structure jokingly known as ‘Scotland’s smallest castle’ while, further south and for April, the Lost Shore Surf Resort, west of Edinburgh, gives Gavin the opportunity to test his surfing skills at the largest wave pool in Europe.

Rural Aberdeenshire is where Ian befriends two handsome Clydesdale horses for May’s picture while, wielding a broadsword of unusual historical provenance, Declan stands sentinel before Eilean Donan Castle, in the West Highlands, for June.

Loch Morlich, at the foot of the Cairngorm mountains, is Kevin’s location as he thrusts blazing torches into a slowly-darkening sky for July’s picture, while the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle – famed as the venue for the annual Edinburgh Royal Military Tattoo – is the setting for August’s picture with Bradley.

September finds Conor in the heart of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park with Honey, the Heilan coo, while Finlay finds an oasis of tranquillity in October’s picture beside the Water of Leith in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town.

Chris defies the elements in November’s picture as the ruins of Tantallon Castle rise threateningly above the Firth of Forth while, bringing the year to a decidedly chilly close, Blair is impervious to winter’s bite at the Cairngorm Ski Resort.

Enjoy a unique pictorial journey throughout 2027 with our We Love Kilts Calendar – complete with date boxes for every day of the week, interesting details about the locations – and some quirky facts about tartans and the kilt.
